       Welcome to the Information Technology Insights blog, your number one source for all things involved with computer technology. I am dedicated to providing you with the very best information on information technology, with an emphasis on networking solutions, Desktop and laptop functions, and how they communicate with each other.

        I have been working in the computer field for over 10 years as a desktop support specialist. After achieving Microsoft certification in Windows NT and Windows 7, I started as a contractor, gaining real-world experience working as a consultant for firms like Carnival Cruise Lines, Motorola, and Cisco. I am currently a full-time IT desktop support representative at a local communications company. I am attending the University of Arizona Global Campus and am on course to getting a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, specializing in cybersecurity.  

In advancing my skills, I hope to get an additional understanding of network topology and how the various types of communication take place across the internet. As a desktop support specialist, I have extensive experience with computer networking, repairs, and

troubleshooting.
